The Global Brahman Council, an initiative of the Learning & Development Foundation, stands as a beacon of unity and cultural preservation. Rooted in the timeless beliefs of Sanatana Dharma and inspired by the ancient wisdom of the Maha Upanishad, "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" (the world is one family), our mission is to promote mutual respect, peace, and understanding among all.

At the heart of the Global Brahman Council lies a deep commitment to preserving and sharing the key beliefs of Sanatana Dharma, cherished by Hindus worldwide. Through our initiatives, we seek to impart the true essence of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—uniting individuals from diverse backgrounds under the common thread of humanity.

Led by our director Dr. Rita Vyas Nagarkar, whose expertise in intercultural communication and UNESCO's Global Citizenship Education (GCED) initiatives, as well as Dr. Sanjay Nagarkar's leadership, the Global Brahman Council organises traditional Indian teachings for both Indians and non-Indians residing abroad. These teachings offer a profound insight into the rich cultural heritage and spiritual wisdom of India, fostering greater understanding and appreciation across borders.

In addition to teachings, the Global Brahman Council hosts events where participants can actively engage in traditional Indian rituals such as havans and pujas. These rituals serve as a bridge between cultures, inviting individuals to experience the depth and beauty of Indian spirituality firsthand. Furthermore, our celebrations of Indian festivals provide a platform for cultural exchange and joyous camaraderie, uniting people in shared experiences of festivity and tradition.
