Academia-Community Bridging

We identified a serious communication gap between academics and the wider community.  So in an effort to make academic research findings that are of relevance to the wider audiences, this initiative "Academia-Community Bridging" talks were started in order to make the academic research useful for all stakeholders.  Through this initiative, we make the academic research which is useful and relevant to the community, accessible to non-experts in a digestible, easy to understand format.   The talks focus on exactly what the audience need to know by simplifying selected research findings that are relevant to the audience but lacks impact on and traction with wider audience.
